Women comprise 51.3% of the population. 58% work because their family's Income would otherwise be below $7,000. 42% are heads of households, supporting themselves and/or their children. But women, as individuals, seldom claimed the right to be knowledgeable about Money! It is time that women take the responsibility of learning to utilize their money more effectively. There is an everincreasing population of women .. alone. Divorce last year created over one million newly single women. Young women are delaying marriage. Increased life expectancy has created an increased population of older women. Over six million women over 55 live alone. 85% of women in the United States must at one time or another be solely responsible for their own finances. It is time we all learn effective methods of money management.
